Jungle Rhythms acknowledged St Francis School as a "GREEN SCHOOL" due to the school's strong commitment to mentor and coach students to become ecosensitive citizens. Jungle Rhythms GREEN SCHOOL certificate was presented to honorable principal mam of the English medium school.
Wildlife Conservation Awareness for youth is key towards any sustainable model of conservation. Jungle Rhythms provided a simple module of tiger conservation and habitat protection to all the students of St. Francis High School Pune (Class 1 to Class 10) on the auspicious eve of Global Tiger Day.
Our youngest member, Diya delivered key aspect of the content to the kids of her age so that the knowledge sharing became easy and more palatable. The jungle storytelling and the film screening of the yesterday premiered tiger documentary- "The Land of the Tiger" was like a icing over the full program.
Students had prepared some excellent artwork about the tiger, our forests alng with conservation messages for their own special event. So happy to see their green thoughts and their different strong ways of spreading the conservation message.
The Q&A session was the best...
Does a tiger's tongue also have teeth?
Who is the king - tiger or lion?
What do we do if we meet a tiger before us suddenly?
Jungle Rhythms also presented two saplings of fruit trees (mango and guava) to St Francis School as mark of extending the green cover of the future. The saplings were planted along with the students and school staff. The students took responsibility of maintaining the plants as their own little children.
Jungle Rhythms thanks St Francis School Pune for setting a great example for many others.
